Dale Stetina (born 9 July 1956) was a United States national team cyclist in the late 1970s through the 1980s.〔( New York Times - Sep 12, 1976 )〕 He is a former U.S. National Road Champion and two-time winner of one of America's greatest bicycle races, the Coors Classic of Boulder, Colorado.〔(Miami News Oct 3, 1983 )〕 He also won the Mt. Washington Bicycle Grand Prix.〔(Lakeland Ledger Sep 10, 1979 )〕〔(New York Times Sep 10, 1979 )〕 Stetina hails from an Indianapolis, Indiana-based cycling family which includes three brothers Wayne, Joel, and Troy (Wayne Stetina was also 1976-77 U.S. National Road champion).〔("These nuts had guts" ). Dale's father Roy was also a state cycling champion of Indiana. In 2007 Stetina was inducted into the U.S. Bicycling Hall of Fame. Stetina won the Tour of Costa Rica, in December 1980. He won 3 stages, during the event, showing during the final stage ( Perez Zeledón - San José, 188 km) a great sport level; winning with a big time difference of 30 minutes with respect to the second place of the stage. ==References==
